Report From Philadelphia Union
Chester, PA. – The Philadelphia Union fell 1-0 to the New England Revolution Saturday night in PPL Park. The game remained goalless at half time, but Diego Fagundez´s low shot directed at the left corner of Andre Blake´s goal in the 51st minute marked the only tally and stopped the Union from extending their unbeaten streak to four games. The Union tried to find an equalizer, as Jim Curtin made tactical changes for a more offensive game by bringing in forward Fernando Aristeguieta for defender Fabinho, but the home side could not find the back of the net. The Union return to action on Saturday, Sept. 5 to face the San Jose Earthquakes at 10:30 p.m. in Avaya Stadium.
