CHESTER, Pa.– Philadelphia Union today announced that it has officially completed its transaction with Atlanta United FC, acquiring the expansion club’s natural Fourth Round pick in the 2020 MLS SuperDraft in exchange for midfielder Kevin Kratz.
The move takes place during today’s Half-Day Trade Window opening ahead of the MLS Expansion Draft on Tuesday, December 13.
Following the transaction, the Union’s roster now stands at 20 players currently under contract for the 2017 season:
Goalkeepers (2): Andre Blake, John McCarthy
Defenders (7): Fabinho, Raymon Gaddis, Richie Marquez, Keegan Rosenberry, Ken Tribbett, Auston Trusty, Josh Yaro
Midfielders (9): Roland Alberg, Eric Ayuk, Alejandro Bedoya, Brian Carroll, Warren Creavalle, Maurice Edu, Ilsinho, Derrick Jones, Chris Pontius
Forwards (2): Fabian Herbers, C.J. Sapong
