Report From Philadelphia Union
Harrison, N.J. – Philadelphia Union won 2-0 against Eastern Conference rival New York Red Bulls at the Red Bull Area on Sunday night. Vincent Noguiera made the first impact on the scoreboard in the 57th minute scoring from Cristian Maidana’s assist. C.J. Sapong, who came in for Conor Casey in the 54th minute, scored just a few minutes later in the 62nd minute from Fabinho’s run from midfield. This is the first time in team history that the Philadelphia Union have defeated the Red Bulls in the Red Bull Arena.
