The Philadelphia Phillies made their second major acquisition of the young offseason on Friday when they acquired veteran utility player Howie Kendrick from the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for young infielder Darnell Sweeney and fan favorite Darin Ruf. The 33-year-old Kendrick is expected to play left field. A career .289 hitter, he’s owed $10 million in 2017. For more on this game, click here.
