The Philadelphia Flyers have announced that forward Owen Tippett has been signed to an eight-year, $49.6 million contract extension, starting with the 2024-25 season.

Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux has been dealt to the Florida Panthers in exchange for forward Owen Tippett, a 2024 first-round pick, and a 2023 third-round pick.
