Will AP Recruit Vick to Vikings?

While no formal decisions have been made on Michael Vick’s free agency status this offseason, by neither he nor the Eagles, speculation already surrounds the situation should Vick test the open market next week. In Minnesota, star running back Adrian Peterson has taken to Twitter in an attempt to show Vick support for his potential services.

“Michael Vick would intently [i.e., instantly] make the Vikings a playoff team!” Peterson tweeted this week.

The QB situation in Minnesota has not recently been kind with the likes of Tarvaris Jackson, Josh Freeman and Christian Ponder in recent years. Former Eagle Donovan McNabb and future Hall of Famer Brett Favre have also paired with Peterson, but that elusive Supper Bowl trip has not yet surfaced.
