The 76ers wasted an early nine-pont lead dwindle and let the game itself get out of hand in the second half during a 115-98 loss to the Sacramento Kings (23-42) Wednesday night. The loss marks Philly’s 14th straight (franchise “record”) at home and 18th overall as it inches closer to the worst losing streak in team history (20 games, 1972-73). Henry Sims posted career-highs of 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Sixers (15-49), James Anderson added 17 points and Thaddeus Young scored 16.
Local product Jason Thompson (Mount Laurel Township, NJ, Rider University) chipped in with 15 points for the Kings.
