Stephen Strasburg returned to form Sunday afternoon, throwing seven innings of five-hit, one-run ball while posting seven strikeouts as the Washington Nationals beat the visiting Philadelphia Phillies 4-1 to take three games out of four in DC. Phillies starter David Buchanan battled well through the first four frames before surrendering all three earned runs he would allow in the fifth. He fell to 0-3 on the season with the loss and his ERA ballooned to 9.22. The win marked the first of the season for Strasburg, who had previously allowed a combined eight earned runs in his first two starts against the Mets and Red Sox. The Phillies collected seven hits on the day, but stranded 11 runners throughout. Freddy Galvis knocked in his sixth run of the season. For more on this game, click here.
