At one point in the first quarter Friday evening the Sixers held a 16-point advantage against visiting Detroit, but the lead wouldn’t last as the Pistons (15-22) ended a six-game losing streak en route to a 114-104 win. Josh Smith led the comeback for the Pistons with 22 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists and four steals and Brandon Jennings (19 points, six assists) got hot in the second half to thwart the 76ers, who have now lost three straight and fell to 12-24 with the loss.
