The Philadelphia 76ers gave a special welcome Wednesday night before and during their contest versus Detroit to the family of fallen Philadelphia police officer Robert Wilson III.Philly beat the visiting Pistons 94-83.
Wilson’s older son Quahmier was given a tour of the locker room by Jason Richardson, during which he met Brett Brown in his office, as well as a jersey from the guard/forward and a pair of shoes from Nerlens Noel. Wilson’s 1-year-old son Robert Wilson IV and other family members watched the team warmup from the Sixer bench. Members of the Sixers also previously wore white T-shirts with the words “Officer Wilson” in blue lettering during warmups for a home game against Atlanta on March 7.
