The Sixers looked as if they might snap their recent losing streak Wednesday night in Utah, but then guard Alec Burks went on his own personal tear, scoring 10 of his 26 points in the final two minutes, and the Jazz sent Philly to it’s eighth consecutive loss with a 105-100 win.
Evan Turner scored 21 points and Michael Carter-Williams and Thaddeus Young added 19 apiece for the 76ers (15-39). With the win, Utah moved ahead of Philly by four wins (Sixers have played two more total, however) in the “race” for the NBA Draft’s most ping pong balls. For more on the game, click here.
