Report From Philadelphia Sixers
PHILADELPHIA, PA. – The Philadelphia 76ers today announced invitees to the team’s mini-camp in advance of the Orlando Pro Summer League, which will take place on the Orlando Magic’s practice court at Amway Center from July 5-11.
Headlining the Sixers entry in the Orlando Pro Summer League is Nerlens Noel, the sixth overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft. The 20-year-old was SEC Defensive Player of the Year, SEC Freshman of the Year and First Team All-SEC in 2012-13. Joining him will be Sixers guard Casper Ware and forward Hollis Thompson, who appeared in 77 games last season while shooting a rookie-best 40.1% from 3-point range.
