Phillies rookie Jerad Eickhoff allowed just four hits in his seven innings of work against the first-place New Your Mets Monday night, but three of them (two home runs and a single by opposing pitcher Bartolo Colon) came in the fifth inning and proved to be the difference. The offense didn’t help the 25-year-old, who made just his third Major League start. Cesar Hernandez had two hits and knocked in the lone Phillies run. For more on this game, click here.
