Rumors about how teams are leaning towards players they desire for the upcoming NBA Draft are a non-ending carousel of mostly opinion and conjecture based on anything from putting perceived puzzle pieces together from a roster perspective to downright whimsical guessing. However, when players themselves get linked to teams they would like to end up with or, sometimes more importantly, teams they do not want to go to, there tends to be more of a shred of truth.

A recent report by ESPN’s Chad Ford claims that former Kansas freshman Andrew Wiggins would prefer to be selected by Philadelphia as opposed to Cleveland and Milwaukee in the upcoming draft. With picks Nos. 1, 2 and 3, respectively, the Cavs, Bucks and Sixers are frontrunners for landing either Wiggins, his former teammate Joel Embiid or former Duke freshman Jabari Parker.
