Phillies on Verge of Sweep With Extra-Inning Win Over Nats

Odubel Herrera’s one-out double in the bottom of the 10th inning lifted the Phillies to a 3-2 win over visiting Washington. The hit and RBI were the first of Herrera’s as a Phillie and his MLB career. Cole Hamels got the win, throwing seven innings of two-hit, one-run ball with five strikeouts.
