Phillies Get Revenge on Cardinals, Salvage Win in Series

The Philadelphia Phillies showcased an offensive effort it hasn’t displayed in quite some time Sunday afternoon at Citizens Bank Park, topping the Cardinals 9-2 in the series finale. Starting Pitcher Adam Morgan defeated the Cards’ Michael Wacha to earn a win in his Major League debut. Andres Blanco hit his second home run of the season, a three-run shot in the seventh inning.
