Jerad Eickhoff made yet another impressive start and Darin Ruf knocked in a pair of runs with his 12th homer of the season to lead the Philadelphia Phillies past the New York Mets, 3-0, Thursday afternoon at a near-empty Citizens Bank Park. The game was moved up seven hours due to the messy weather impacted by Hurricane Joaquin. Eickhoff earned his third win and lowered his ERA to 2.65 with seven shutout innings and 10 strikeouts to complete a sweep of the playoff-bound Mets. Luis Garcia earned his second save.
