The Philadelphia Union is helping to support a local World Cup viewers party June 13 in Philadelphia. AL DIA News Media is hosting the event on June 13 for the first full day of the tournament in a partnership with Comcast and the Philadelphia Daily News at The Hub Commerce Square. The festivities will begin at 2:30 p.m. with the 2010 finalists rematch and will conclude with the final game of the day.
All guests will receive food, cocktails and giveaways in addition to having the chance to participate in raffles (all included with the ticket purchase), including a raffle for a Union jersey. Tickets can be purchased here. All proceeds will benefit the AL DÍA Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit organization that supports scholarships for multicultural journalism.
