The Philadelphia Phillies have announced the following transactions:

1/9/25
The Phillies have agreed to one-year contracts and avoided arbitration with pitchers Jesús Luzardo and Ranger Suárez, infielders Alec Bohm, Edmundo Sosa and Bryson Stott and outfielder Brandon Marsh. 

12/23/24
The Phillies have agreed to terms on a contract for the 2025 season with right-handed pitcher Joe Ross. To make room for Ross on the 40-man roster, right-handed pitcher José Cuas has been designated for assignment. 

12/22/24
The Phillies have acquired left-handed starter Jesús Luzardo and catcher Paul McIntosh from the Miami Marlins in exchange for minor league outfielder Emaarion Boyd and infielder Starlyn Caba.

12/20/24
The Phillies have signed outfielder Max Kepler to a one-year contract.

12/9/24
The Phillies have signed right-handed pitcher Jordan Romano to a one-year contract.

The Phillies made the following roster moves today:

  • Agreed to terms on a contract for the 2025 season with right-hander José Ruiz and catcher Garrett Stubbs
  • Tendered contracts to five arbitration-eligible players: infielders Alec BohmEdmundo Sosa & Bryson Stott, outfielder Brandon Marsh and left-hander Ranger Suárez
  • The club did not tender a contract to outfielder Austin Hays

The Phillies have selected the contracts of right-handed pitchers Mick Abel, Jean Cabrera and Moisés Chace to the 40-man roster. Additionally, right-handed pitcher John McMillon cleared waivers and was outrighted to triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Right-handed pitchers Yunior Marte, Luis Ortiz and Freddy Tarnok, left-handed pitcher Kolby Allard and infielder Rodolfo Castro have cleared waivers, been outrighted and are free agents
