The San Jose Sharks reeled off three unanswered goals in the third period Wednesday night to steal a 4-2 win over the visiting Philadelphia Flyers. Two of the three scores came on the power play. After a scoreless first period, the Sharks’ Joe Thornton opened the game’s scoring with yet another power play goal at 9:53 of the second before Claude Giroux tied the game on an unassisted goal, his 12th of the season. Sean Couturier gave the Flyers a 2-1 lead at 4:19 of the third with his sixth goal of the season on an assist from Wayne Simmonds (11). Steve Mason had 29 saves on 33 shots in the losing effort.
