Keith Yandle’s goal with 12.9 seconds to play in regulation on Saturday afternoon did more than just tie a game at 2-2 that the new York Rangers would eventually win in a shootout over the host Philadelphia Flyers. It also marked Philadelphia’s second blown lead of the day and ended their string of wins at three games. The Flyers had leads of 1-0 and 2-1 in a contest that felt in their possession most of the afternoon before a scoreless overtime led to their nemesis shootout round. Shayne Gostisbehere’s ninth goal of the season opened the game’s scoring at 7:16 of the first period. Ryan White scored his sixth goal of the season in an eventful third period that saw three scores. Steve Mason had 26 saves on 28 shots in net. For more on this game, click here.
