Kings Top Flyers in Shootout Round, 3-2

The Los Angeles Kings erased two one-goal leads en route to a 3-2 shootout win over the host Philadelphia Flyers on Tuesday night. Milan Lucic’s goal at 19:04 in the third period tied the game at 2-2. Shayne Gostisbehere netted his first NHL goal to give the Flyers an early 1-0 lead and Claude Giroux scored his sixth goal at 11:11 of the third to produce a 2-1 lead. Steve Mason stopped 38 of 40 shots in regulation and overtime. Anze Kopitar scored the only goal in the shootout. For more on this game, click here.
