Report From Philadelphia Eagles
Wide receiver Josh Huff has been named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 12 for his 107-yard kickoff return for a touchdown last Sunday against the Tennessee Titans. Huff’s impressive return that included two ferocious stiff-arms took place on the first play of the Eagles’ 43-24 win.
The return set the record for the longest kickoff return in Eagles franchise history, and was the rookie’s first career touchdown. He is the first Eagles rookie to be named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Huff is the second Eagle to win the award this season. Running back Darren Sproles has won the award twice, once for his 82-yard punt return touchdown against San Francisco in Week 4, and again for his 65-yard punt return touchdown against Carolina in Week 10.
