Vince Velasquez, one of seven players involved in the trade of relief pitcher Ken Giles, turned in a rather flawless debut with the Philadelphia Phillies on Saturday afternoon in what would become a 1-0 win – the first for the Phillies in 2016. The 23-year-0ld threw six shutout innings, allowing three hits and three walks while striking out nine. Ryan Howard hit his second home run of the season and No. 359 of his career, moving him past Hall of Famer Yogi Berra on the all-time list. For more on this game, click here.
