Just one day after Odubel Herrera caught some flak for not running out a ground ball during a 1-0 Phillies loss Tuesday night he came up with the pivotal at bat in a 5-4, 10-inning win Wednesday afternoon versus the Tampa Bay Rays. Herrera’s two-out single in the bottom of the 10th scored Domonic Brown from second base and ended a game that had long gone the Phillies way before Tampa took a lead in the later innings. Jonathan Papelbon earned his second win of the season with two scoreless innings out of the pen. Ben Revere went 3-for-5 to raise his average to .300 again. For more on this game, click here.
