Goalie Blake Undergoes Knee Surgery

Chester, Pa.  – Philadelphia Union announced on Monday that goalkeeper Andre Blake underwent a successful partial menisectomy on his left knee. The injury is expected to keep Blake out of action for four-to-six weeks.

Blake, 24, is in his second season with the Union. He was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 MLS SuperDraft and played in one MLS game last year. Blake has made nine appearances for the Jamaican National Team, making his Reggae Boyz debut in March 2014.
