Flyers Trim Roster to 35 Players

The Philadelphia Flyers today reduced their training camp roster by 23 players, according to general manager Ron Hextall.

The following players under NHL contracts were loaned to the Flyers’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Lehigh Valley Phantoms:

LW   Tyrell Goulbourne
D      Maxim Lamarche
LW   Taylor Leier
LW   Danick Martel
RW   Derek Mathers
D      Sam Morin
D      Jesper Pettersson
G      Anthony Stolarz
RW   Petr Straka

The following players under AHL contracts were released from training camp and will report to Lehigh Valley:

G      Connor Knapp
D      Nick Luukko
G      Martin Ouellette
RW   Pavel Padakin
RW   Michael Parks
D      Logan Pyett
LW   Jay Rosehill

The Flyers also returned four players to their junior teams today: Travis Konecny (Ottawa, OHL), Ivan Provorov (Brandon, WHL), Travis Sanheim (Calgary, WHL) and Radel Fazleev (Calgary, WHL).

The Flyers training camp roster now stands at 35 players.
