Flyers Rally, but Fall in Shootout to Islanders

Claude Giroux’ 10th goal of the season at 2:02 in the third period erased a two-goal deficit the visiting New York Islanders built early in the second and pushed Philadelphia into another overtime at 3-3 before the Flyers would fall, 4-3, in a shootout. Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Ryan White also scored regulation goals for Philly. Kyle Okposo scored the only goal of the shootout for New York. Goaltender Steve Mason was pulled in the second after allowing three goals on 10 shots. For more on this game, click here.
