The Philadelphia Flyers (39-25-13) picked up another crucial three points in the standings on Saturday afternoon with a 3-2 win over the visiting Ottawa Senators (36-34-9). With the win, the Flyers currently hold a one-point advantage over the Boston Bruins for the second wild card in the Eastern Conference and sit just two points behind the New York Islanders for the top wild card spot.
