Report From Philadelphia Eagles
Five years after the Eagles traded up in the first round to add Brandon Graham to the team, the two parties have agreed to continue their partnership for another four seasons. On the eve of the official opening of free agency, the Eagles announced Monday that Graham and the team have agreed to terms on a new four-year contract.
Graham, 26, recorded 5.5 sacks and forced four fumbles for the Eagles in 2014 while splitting duties at outside linebacker with Trent Cole. He has 17.0 career sacks.
Amid a flurry of rumors and reports of the Eagles’ dealings since the beginning of the “legal tampering” period this weekend, the Graham re-signing marks the first official “addition” to the roster since the signing of linebackerBrad Jones a week ago.
At outside linebacker, Graham joins Pro Bowler Connor Barwin, Bryan Braman, Travis Long andMarcus Smith II.
