The Washington Redskins clinched the NFC East division Saturday night with a 38-24 win over the host Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. A fast, impressive start to the evening in which the Eagles scored a touchdown on their game-opening drive was rather quickly thwarted as the Skins built a 13-7 lead before the quarter ended and took 16-10 lead into the half before the defense completely caved in. The offense couldn’t provide much relief with pivotal turnovers by running back DeMarco Murray and tight end Zach Ertz. Dropped passes defined the game, which essentially defined the season.
