The Philadelphia Eagles named Ryan Day quarterbacks coach. The 35-year-old Day replaces Bill Musgrave, who became the offensive coordinator of the Oakland Raiders.
Day joins the Eagles after a two-year stint as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach of Boston College. That school posted consecutive seven-win seasons from 2013-2014. Day also held stints at Boston College from 2007-11 as wide receivers coach and from 2003-04 as a graduate assistant on offense.

In 2012, Day was the offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach at Temple University. He also served as the Owls wide receivers coach in 2006.
The 2002 graduate of New Hampshire was a three-year starter at quarterback, playing under former New Hampshire offensive coordinator and current Philadelphia head coach Chip Kelly. His finished his collegiate career with four UNH passing records, including best passing percentage and touchdown passes in a career.
Day began his coaching career as the tight ends coach at his alma mater in 2002. He also worked at the University of Florida in 2005 as a graduate assistant for offense.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from New Hampshire in 2002 and a master’s degree in administrative studies from Boston College in 2004.
