Brown Sustains Head Injury During Phillies Latest Loss to Mets

Phillies outfielderDomonic Brown was forced out of Wednesday night’s game at Citi Field after hitting his head on a concrete surface beyond the baseline fence in right field while going after a fly ball off the bat of Mets shortstop Ruben Tejada. The ball would land in fair play and end up as a two-run inside-the-park home run that put New York up 3-0 en route to its 9-4 win. Odubel Herrera and Andres Blanco collected two hits apiece for the Phillies, who racked up 10 hits on the evening – nine of which came against ace Matt Harvey. Aaron Nola took the loss.
