Report From Philadelphia Union
CHESTER, Pa. – Philadelphia Union announced today that midfielder Haris Medunjanin has received an international call-up from the Bosnia and Herzegovina National Team to represent the side in a pair of upcoming friendlies.
Medunjanin joins his National Team for a match against Bulgaria in Razgrad (March 23) as well as a contest against Senegal in Le Havre, France (March 27).
In total, Medunjanin has earned 58 caps for his country. This is his second call-up of 2018 after receiving one in January, which saw the midfielder start vs. the United States (January 28) in Carson, CA for his 57th cap, followed by an additional start three days later vs. Mexico in San Antonio, TX for his 58th.
Medunjanin becomes the fourth Union player called up during the current FIFA international window, joining Andre Blake (Jamaica), Mark McKenzie and Matt Real (both United States Under-20).
