Head coach Chip Kelly said that quarterback Michael Vick is “day-to-day” with a hamstring injury. An MRI conducted Monday morning showed that Vick suffered a pulled hamstring in the second quarter of Sunday’s win over the Giants, according to Kelly.
“We have not made any decision on who our starting quarterback is going to be next week,” Kelly said.
Vick will likely miss Tuesday’s practice, per Kelly. If Vick can’t play, Nick Foles will make his first start of the season.
Foles completed 16-of-25 pass attempts for 197 yards with two touchdowns against no interceptions in relief of Vick. Both of Foles’ touchdown passes came in the fourth quarter to put the Giants away.
