The Philadelphia Eagles resigned linebacker Emmanuel Acho on Monday to fill the roster spot of Jordan Hicks, who suffered a season-ending pectoral muscle injury during Sunday night’s win in Dallas. Hicks had accumulated 54 tackles (44 solo) and one sack through eight games (five starts). The third-round rookie was thrust into the starting lineup earlier this season after injuries to Kiko Alonso and Mychal Kendricks. The fourth-year veteran Acho had been with the Birds as recently as this past preseason before being waived with an injured thumb.
