Report From Philadelphia Union
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Andre Blake made 10 saves to break the Union’s single-game franchise record as Philadelphia drew with New England Revolution 1-1 on Saturday night at Gillette Stadium in front 25,885 fans. Blake’s 10 saves also tied MLS’ season-high in 2015 set by Jamie Penedo and Stefan Frei and helped the Union push their unbeaten streak on the road to three games – tying a franchise record. Fernando Aristeguieta scored the Union’s lone goal to equalize in the 65th minute. The Union will return to action Wednesday, Sept. 30 in the 2015 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final against Sporting Kansas City, televised on ESPN2.
