Asche Hits to Homers to Lead Phillies Past Marlins

Aaron Harang got plenty of run support Tuesday night as the Philadelphia Phillies opened a series in Miami with a 6-2 win over the Marlins. Cody Asche hit two home runs, giving him 11 on the season, and Darin Ruf added his ninth. Harang was given a 3-0 lead after two innings and a 5-0 lead into the bottom of the seventh.
