Aaron Nola improved to 4-1 with his most impressive pitching performance to date as the Philadelphia Phillies shutout the host Miami Marlins 2-0 Sunday afternoon. Nola went eight scoreless innings while striking out six and allowing three hits and two walks. Aaron Altherr knocked in a run on a sacrifice fly in the third inning and Cameron Rupp’s solo home run in the seventh gave Nola all the support he needed.
