After his dazzling performance in the Eagles’ 30-27 come-from-behind win over the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night, Eagles running back Darren Sproles was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week. In the victory, Sproles had seven catches for 152 yards (including two receptions of over 50 yards) and four carries for 26 yards and a touchdown.
This is Sproles’ second Player of the Week award, but the first time he’s been honored as the Offensive Player of the Week (he previously won for special teams).
Through two games, Sproles’ 263 yards from scrimmage rank sixth in the NFL.
