Report From Philadelphia Flyers
The Philadelphia Flyers today released their 2014-15 preseason schedule, according to general manager Ron Hextall.
The Flyers will play an eight-game preseason slate this year that will begin on Monday, September 22 when the club will play a split-squad evening with two games on the same night.
One of those games will be the Flyers’ 10th visit to the Global Spectrum-managed Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario, where they’ll take on the Toronto Maple Leafs. The other half of the roster will remain in Philadelphia and host the Washington Capitals.
The Canadian contingent of the Flyers’ preseason roster will remain north of the border on Tuesday, September 25 to play the Maple Leafs in Toronto. The rest of the schedule includes two more home preseason games at the Wells Fargo Center – September 25 vs. New Jersey and September 30 vs. the New York Rangers.
