Report From PhiladelphiaSoul.com
PHILADELPHIA (April 29, 2014) – Philadelphia Soul quarterback, Dan Raudabaugh, was awarded the Russell Offensive Player of the Week award following a solid performance against the Iowa Barnstormers in Week 7.
Raudabaugh (6’3, 225, Miami, Ohio) completed 26-of-35 passes for 283 yards and nine touchdowns, including the game-winning score with three seconds to play, in Philadelphia’s 60-55 victory over the Iowa Barnstormers. His nine touchdowns represent Raudabaugh’s highest single-game total since his career-high 11-touchdown performance against the Tampa Bay Storm on June 29, 2012.
The game-winning touchdown to Tiger Jones was also named the “AFL Highlight of the Week”.
“Our offensive line has been doing a great job all year,” said Raudabaugh. “When (Derrick) Ross is running well and our receivers are making plays, it puts me in a good spot. The bottom line is that we got the victory and we are getting better each week.”
The Philadelphia Soul are traveling out to Pittsburgh to face the Power on May 3, 2014 at 7 p.m. in the “Keystone Kollision.” The game will be televised on TCN.
