The 76ers again came close to halting their franchise-worst losing streak Wednesday night before the visiting (and surging) Chicago Bulls pulled out a 102-94 win. The Sixer Slide now stands at 22 straight games (17 straight at home).
Chicago (38-30, current No. 4 seed in the East) never led by more than 11 points in the game and needed a 17-9 run to close the game to secure the win. With the loss, the Sixers (15-53) are now just four losses shy of matching the NBA record for the longest single-season losing streak held by the Cleveland Cavaliers (26 games) of 2010-11 .
