Freddie Mitchell Headed for the Slammer

Former Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Freddie Mitchell is reportedly headed for a prison term of more than three years for tax evasion. Mitchell, a first-round draft pick in 2001 who had a rather underwhelming career but did play on the Eagles’ last Super Bowl team, never found steady work in the NFL after leaving Philadelphia.
